本基金成立於2007年11月14日，是一個非牟利的慈善機構，目的是為香港的青少年改善學習環境及提供機會，特別關注資源不充裕的學校及家境貧困的學生，全方位支援並照顧他們的實際需要：拓展視野，強化通識教育，擴闊學習範圍，提供自主學習空間，發揮創意及培養自信，提升他們各方面的競爭能力。

WHEF, established on November 14, 2007, is a non-profit charitable organization with the objective to help the youths in Hong Kong to improve their educational environment and opportunities, focusing on students from unprivileged homes and schools. We aims to broaden their horizon, enhance their general knowledge, enable their independent learning, develop their creativity and self-confidence, and sharpen their competitiveness.

洪昭儀女士 （1940－2013） ，畢業於美國加州大學柏克萊分校，曾在美國任職註冊營養師多年，與「香港幼聯」及其他醫療人員一同推廣『食物金字塔』的概念，專門向學校及屋邨社群宣揚均衡飲食文化。洪女士亦曾為香港獅球教育基金會副主席。該基金於1985年成立，主辦了27屆，包括香港傑出學生選舉及學界最佳進步獎，後者已獎勵超過7萬名青少年。洪女士於2005年開始以個人名義贊助青少年活動，目的是為贊助一些貧困但有潛質的學生。 洪女士於2013年離世，她的家人、朋友、合作夥伴為她的離去深感惋惜，這亦為基金會成員帶來極大的悲痛和損失。雖然如此，本基金、曾受惠於以上兩項獎項的年青人、無數熱心公益的義工以及我們慷慨的捐助者，均會延續她的遺願，繼續幫助基層學生；並把這個青年事業薪火相傳，以生命改變生命。

Ms. Hung Chiu Yee (1940-2013) is a graduate of University of California, Berkeley. She has worked as a registered dietitian for many years in the US. During the 80’s, as a committee member of Hong Kong Council of Early Childhood Education & Services (CECES), she worked closely with other health care professionals to promote concept of Food Pyramid in Hong Kong, focusing on primary school students and families in the estates. She was also the vice chairperson of Hong Kong Lion and Goble Educational Trust. This Trust was founded in 1985, and is well known for its two award programs every year: The Hong Kong Outstanding Students Award and The Students Improvement Award. The latter has awarded more than 70,000 students in Hong Kong. As of 2005, Ms. Hung has participated in many projects supporting Youths who are financially challenged, and who show passion in further development.
Ms. Hung’s sad departure from us in February 2013 is a big grieving loss to her family, friends, partners and our foundation members. However ,the encouraging news is that youngsters who benefited from the above two awards and many volunteers have committed to continue Ms. Hung’s meaningful mission in helping those youths who are in desperate and needy situations. Our foundation together with these young achievers, dedicated volunteers and generous sponsors will ensure Ms. Hung’s charitable legacy ever flourishing for the benefit of many locals,the Mainlands and overseas young generations.

Ellen Yang 於2002年開始致力於活動學習，與香港不同的大學、中學及小學合作，採用循序漸進的方式，透過一系列有連貫性之活動，讓學生於活動中有所得益，達到通識教育的目的。她更致力幫助生活在貧窮線下的學生也有同樣的學習機會，過去數年Ellen Yang為中、港、台的學生、老師及青少年團安排兩岸三地之門互相作學術、文化、藝術、歷史及就業等各方面的交流活動，讓他們親身體驗三地的風土人情及生活文化，使青年學生多了解三地發展情勢，為將來踏足社會工作做好準備，並為祖國作出貢獻。她亦曾與香港超過100家中小學合作，策劃不同的校本專題研習及安排遊學活動，包括參觀香港有機農莊，讓學生了解有機耕種的同時亦認識環保知識，2003年至今已有超過50家中小學的學生與師生參加這參觀活動。在環保活動方面，Ellen Yang 統籌及策劃環保學習之旅，讓學生走出香港去參觀及學習，例如參觀中國的環保企業，廣州垃圾發電廠等。此外，她亦於2007年1月至今與國際騎術中心合作，推出響應奧運馬術在香港系列的活動學習教育，包括「馬兒入校園」，讓學生半日馬術運動員，基礎騎術培訓活動，推出至今已有超過100間中小學及數萬名學生參加。

Ellen Yang As of 2002,Ellen Yang has dedicated herself to the ” Active Learning ” aspect of education for primary school to university students. ” Active Learning ” emphasizes learning by doing, by participating, by bringing the students out of the realm of the classroom and text book. Ellen has arranged numerous exchange programs for students teachers and youth organizations in Mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Subjects explored include Culture, Literature, Arts, History, Environmental Protection as well as Job Opportunities in the future. Students leave with a much better sense of where they are going.Since Hong Kong government announced that we would be the host of the 2008 Equestrian Sport event in January,2007, Ellen was the first one to take a live horse into the schools as a teaching tool, promoting the sport as well as opening doors for those interested in the sport. Until now, over 100 schools have participated in this program.

張永良先生畢業於香港珠海學院新聞系，其後於星島晚報，中文星報，地區星報，深星時報等機構先後任職記者及編輯工作；90年初轉職聯益報業有限公司擔任市埸拓展部經理，97年出任香港音樂及教育學院行政經理，並兼任結他教務主任工作。2004年許受顧聘任於香港文匯報國際新聞部擔任翻譯及編輯工作。2007年獲邀請加入地區社團東九龍居民委員會秘書處，並出任總幹事一職；2017年轉任九龍社團聯會黃大仙地區委員會主任(最高負責人)至2022年退任。

社會職務方面，2012年起獲邀出任黃大仙東分區委員會委員，2018年起轉任黄大仙西南分區委員會委員，2021年獲邀擔任黄大仙防火委員會委員。

2015年獲民政事務局局長頒發傑出地區服務獎狀；

2018年獲授勳由特首頒發行政長官社區服務獎狀；

Dr Shimin Zhu is an Associate Professor in the Department of Applied Social Sciences at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. She received her PhD in Social Work from The University of Hong Kong in 2014 and her BSc and MEd in Psychology from South China Normal University. She lectured in Psychology in Guangdong University of Education in China before her doctoral study and was a Post-Doctoral Fellow at The University of Hong Kong. She was a Fullbright Scholar and a Visiting Scholar at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.

Dr. Zhu has a major research interest in promoting adolescent positive development and well-being. She studies children and adolescents’ possible selves – how young people perceive their future possibilities leverages their feeling and behaviour. She also examines mindsets – the beliefs of one’s own attributes can change or not, - influence well-being, behaviours, and mental health. She studies youth with disadvantages, such as urban youth in poverty, youth with substance use, and migrant and left-behind children in China. Her research provides evidence-based knowledge to foster the positive development of young people and has direct implications for the school education and youth social work services.

Recently, her work is focused on unravelling the acceptability and efficacy of brief interventions for promoting youth mental health in the Chinese context. She is particularly interested in understanding the effect of integrating possible self and growth mindset intervention on youth motivation and mental health.

張潔婷女士是永恆教育基金創辦人洪昭儀女士之女。她秉承其母遺風，將永恆教育基金的使命延續下去。張女士和丈夫與四名孩子定居美國，現時是約翰霍普金斯醫院的醫生，擔任手術聯絡及麻醉醫師，過去曾出任約翰霍普金斯門診手術部的醫療主管及門診麻醉主管；她亦為助理教授，培訓麻醉科住院醫生。工作以外，張女士積極參與四名孩子的學校與課外活動。 張女士和丈夫Eric同時經營跨國事業，經常往返香港處理業務。此外，夫婦二人積極投身慈善，包括為「受飢兒滋養計畫」和「中華兒童心臟病基金」出任愛心大使。 張女士對加入永恆教育基金董事局，以傳承母親的善舉，深表榮幸。

Kristin Cheung Moy, the daughter of Ms. Hung Chiu Yee, is continuing her mother’s legacy and mission with Wing Han Educational Foundation. Kristin mainly resides in the United States with her husband and four children. She is a doctor at Johns Hopkins Hospital and works as a perioperative liaison and anesthesiologist. She has also served as medical director of the Johns Hopkins Ambulatory Surgical Suites as well as Chief of Ambulatory Anesthesia. As an assistant professor, she also teaches and trains anesthesia residents. She is active in many school and extracurricular activities for her four children. Kristin and her husband, Eric, own an international business and travel to Hong Kong frequently to meet with their partners. Through their business, they are also active in other charitable programs including serving as Nourish the Children and China Heart Fund Ambassadors. Kristin is honored to be a part of the work her mother started in Wing Han.

伍建新博士在康樂會所及營地管理有40多年的豐富經驗，為香港中華基督教青年會康樂體育及營務榮休執行幹事，退休前曾督導管理該會轄下九龍會所、新 界會所及必列者士街會所之康樂體育服務，並主管開會烏溪沙青年新村、獅子 會、將軍澳青年營及聯青社、青年會黃宜州青年三個營地。他於1985年獲選為 香港十大傑出青年，另外，於2001年 協力創立香港營社總會，現為該會永遠榮 譽會員。伍博士更擔任香港大學專業進修學院康樂管理課程兼任講師多年，亦 曾任油尖區民選區議員16年。此外，他獲委任為伊利沙伯醫院管治委員會18年 、中華電力有限公司地區客戶諮詢委員20年，現為榮譽委員。又歷任多間學校 校董，包括 麗澤中學、伊利沙伯中學、黃大仙官立小學、中華基督教會全完中 學、中華基督教會基智中學、和中華基督教會馮梁潔紀念中學。現仍擔任油尖 區健康城市督導委員會委員、中國香港遊泳總會副會長、真理浸信會青少年發 展服務中心義務總幹事和註冊社。

Dr. NG Kin Sun has over 40 years of experience in the recreation, sport and camp services. He worked for the Chinese YMCA of a Hong Kong as an Executives Secretary and supervised the recreation and sport services of Kowloon Centre, New Territories Centre and Bridge Street Centre and the camp services of Wu Kai Sha Youth Village, Lions-YMCA Junk Bay Youth Camp and Y’s Men – Wong Yi Chau Youth Camp. He was awarded the Ten Outstanding Young Persons Selection in 1985. He was one of the co- founders of the Camp Association Hong Kong, China and is now the Honorary Member of the Association. He was a part-time lecturer of HKU SPACE Sport and Recreation Management Programme for many years. He has also served as an Elected District Council member of the Yau Tsim Mong District of 16 years. He was appointed as a member of Hospital Governing Committee of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Governing Committee of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital for 18 years. He has also seved as a member of the School Management Committees of Lai Chack Middle School, Queen Elizabeth School, Wong Tai Sin Government Primary, CCC Chuen Yuen College, CCC Kei Cgi Secondary School and CCC Fung Leung Kit Memorial Secondary School. He is the Yau Tsim Mong China Light Power Local Customer Advisory Committee Honorary Member, a convener of Working Group on Promotion of Healthy Lives Executive Committee of Yau Tsim Mong Healthy City. The Vice President of the Hong Kong China Swimming Association, the General Secretary (Volunteer)of the Truth Baptist Church Youth Enhancement and Service Centre and is a Registered Social Worker.
